In fact, the two have grabbed attention on social media through active posts. Schwarzenegger once made a buzz by uploading a photo of him with Stallone from his own office. Now, you would expect two fitness geeks to meet over a workout. But instead, they carved Halloween pumpkins last year. Here is a throwback video of Stallone explaining how they ended up there.

Stallone and Schwarzenegger are certainly two of the biggest living icons that we have today. Despite the newer generation and competition, they manage to stay updated on social media and keep trending. Their own Halloween picture came as a pleasant surprise for fans. During an interview with Jimmy Fallon, the actor explained how it all started with a simple meeting.
He went to meet his rival-turned-friend to promote his reality show, The Family Stallone. Schwarzenegger welcomed him and informed him about getting his donkey and pony to meet him.
The 76-year-old went up, and to his surprise, there was actually a donkey named Lulu and a pony named Whiskey roaming around in diapers. To top it, Schwarzenegger asked if they could carve pumpkins, which led them to carve the Halloween pumpkins together.

Now the two have resolved their issues, but things were not this smooth during their peak years.

Schwarzenegger and Stallone were the ones who evolved the way a hero looked, not just in Hollywood but across the globe. But being at its peak in the 80s-90s, there was a constant comparison of who is better. Keeping that behind, they worked together on Escape Plan and The Expendables franchise. Today, they stay united and continue to motivate people not just about fitness but also kindness. Perhaps their pumpkin carving could turn into a tradition.
