The ultimate power couple of the early 2000s, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt, had everyone feeling a serious case of relationship FOMO during their blissful years together. In the realm of high-profile unions, none came close to the combined star power of these Friends co-stars. While their romantic saga played out like a perfectly penned novel, its end was equally dramatic and rather tragic. Surprisingly, they managed to work through their differences and get back on friendly terms post their split.

When Aniston and Pitt joined the cast of Fast Times at Ridgemont High at a virtual table read for CORE, nobody expected them to play out a scene laden with sexual tension. In it, Pitt’s character was masturbating while imagining Aniston’s character, leaving everybody at the meet blushing. In an interview with the Howard Stern Show via People, Jennifer Aniston revealed that she felt “no oddness” while enacting this at all!

She even addressed the elephant in the room by remarking that she was aware that people probably “assumed” or wanted this to be the case. However, she denied feeling any such awkwardness contrary to these beliefs. She even went as far as to say that the experience was “absolutely fun” for her. Evidently, the tensions between the separated duo have dissipated over time. 

Maybe not anymore, but there was certainly a time when Aniston was infuriated by her ex-husband’s actions after their divorce.

One year after their divorce, a source close to her even detailed the torment she had endured during that time. 

The 54-year-old reportedly wanted to “shake him” furiously for plastering 60 pages of a tabloid with the story of his new relationship with Angelina Jolie. Well, they have moved on from it all now. For two years past lovers to share such an intimate moment in front of the keenly watching eyes of the whole world could not have been an easy feat. Somehow, they managed to pull it off effortlessly.
