Back When Henry Cavill Confessed He would Rather Be In Front of His Gaming PC Than Going Outside
He may be the best Superman for some, and the best Witcher for others, but for the gaming community, Henry Cavill is simply ‘one of them.’ One of his many attributes is his perfectly flawless biological architecture. The other, however, is his never-ending love for the video games. If we look down on his 2-decade-old career, the recently turned 40-year-old actor has either given some truly amazing roles or is entirely and wholeheartedly absorbed into the world of gaming.
While Cavill may be a superstar on-screen, in real life he would rather opt to drop his fame, put on a loose t-shirt, and game for countless hours. Yes! Henry Cavill. This reminds us of his 2019 interview with GQ ahead of The Witcher’s premiere wherein Cavill explicitly confessed his fear of going out in public.
The British actor gets “hyper-aware,” every time he goes out because people always take sneaky photos. “And then they put them on the internet and you see them on Instagram and you’re like, ‘Oh, my god,'” Cavill mentioned in the GQ interview. However, staying at home and gaming is an escape for Henry Cavill. “At home, I get to sit playing games for ridiculous amounts of hours and escape there, because going outside has the opposite effect,” he added.

Did you know, though, Henry Cavill is not only a gamer but a gamer in an old-school way?
Henry Cavill amazed the gaming community when he made this confession
In yet another interview from 2019, Cavill, like his usual self, talked about his obsession at par. And he quite literally shocked the gaming community- which is evenly divided over the live-action adaptation of The Witcher– when he answered this question. The host apparently asked if he preferred Xbox or PlayStation, and the British actor did not even take a minute to reply. No! It is not Xbox. The British actor would prefer PlayStation over anything.
