The Terminator actor first shot to fame for his passion for bodybuilding, winning multiple prizes and awards in the field. Not only this, but he is a protective father too. This Austrian and American actor turned businessman gave his blessings to Chris Pratt to marry his daughter.

Katherine Schwarzenegger tied the knot with Pratt in 2019. The 33-year-old is an American author and has written three self-help books. She is the eldest child of Schwarzenegger Maria Shriver. And since their families became one, the American actor shared his father-in-law has been very supportive. In an interview with People, Pratt talked about how he felt immense support from the Austrian Oak. The 76-year-old loved Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 after he watched it at the special screening that took place in April in New York. Pratt said, “Arnold’s support means the world to me on a couple different levels.” He added how grateful he was for being a part of his family and having support. But just him as a family member was a different layer. The other one was how Pratt looked up the action hero as a kid. 

Schwarzenegger’s Predator and The Terminator have a fan base of its own and Pratt was no stranger to it. The family, plus the addon of looking up to him as a younger kid, made it all the more special for him. The father of his partner took to Twitter and praised the movie, calling it a “WOW.”

The character of Star Lord has spanned over 10 years. And Pratt recalled how the essence of the character has always been his. He said that the “divine spark” in his soul is the same as that present in his character. The actor definitely feels changed, but wasn’t sure if it was the character that changed him or how own life experiences. 

Sticking true to his nature, he joked about how whatever way the changes might have been; the character had a huge impact on him and that he could afford his kids to go to college.
