The Austrian Oak has been a public hero since he was a teenager. And to see him become the grandfather of not just any kid, but the man with Star Lord’s responsibility on his shoulder has gotten everyone in their feels. The former bodybuilder himself once reflected on what a great circle of life it has been. “It’s nice to see your kids having kids themselves and to watch this new dimension,” said Schwarzenegger in a 2022 interview with People. Another bond that the actor has come to cherish is the bond his grandkids have with the animals.

“The whole house lights up, the animals are there, and the kids are there,” the Austrian Oak told Jimmy Kimmel in 2022. Over the years, Schwarzenegger’s love for kids has become more evident. Following his divorce, the actor expressed how bad he had felt for his kids. That he has gone above and beyond is clear in the way he and Joseph Baena, the child out of wedlock, still share a great relationship.

While he has struck a chord with the kids, it seems that he is still learning to take care of his grandkids. Or at least Katherine Schwarzenegger thinks he is.

While talking about the beautiful baby when the host asked him if he had changed Layla’s diapers ever, he denied it. However, it is more because his daughter is the “expert gatekeeper.”
