However, the cameos often came with a noteworthy producer’s call about the particularities of the depiction.

One such distinguishing counsel was revealed by the guest star, Alexandra Holden. She recalled the tutelage while auditioning for her brief appearance in Friends.

However, Holden once revealed in an interview with The Guardian how her audition for a “chemistry read” with David Schwimmer came with a strict guideline of looking “as hot as possible”. 

As a result, Holden, who was only 22 years old at the time, was sent “into a tailspin”. She further disclosed how she “stayed up all night trying to figure out what to wear”. Holden added that now that she is mature, “I wouldn’t be happy getting that message.”. However, in the same interview, she also expressed how it was “surreal” to become part of such a “huge influence”.

Despite quite drastic a demand, Alexandra Holden confessed how watching Friends, makes her feel like a “different life”. Cashing on Holden’s depiction in Friends, her contemplation was not the sole factor but also her gratefulness for being a part of the influence.
