One of the greatest treasures of our childhood is our friends. Roaming around with them, having fun, and playing until we are physically tired are the things we cherish when we grow up. We did not have to worry about anything except our studies and getting home on time after the long-playing sessions with our friends. We would do anything to get back to our childhood days and reconnect with friends. If you are lucky enough, you would still be friends with them. Well, Arnold Schwarzenegger sure is lucky as he recently reconnected with his friends and melted fans’ hearts.

Recently, The Terminator actor has been making it to the headlines because of the ongoing Austrian World Summit. During the global event, the former governor of California reunited with his friends from his elementary school in Thal. Being “back with the boys” melted his fans’ hearts.

Featured in the image was Peter Urdl, a dear friend of Schwarzenegger’s, who helped set up the Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum in Austria, which follows the journey of the actor-turned-politician-turned-activist before, during, and after Hollywood. Notably, this was not the first time the actor reunited with his childhood friends at the Summit, for 2021 also saw a similar Tweet from the Austrian, featuring his buddies.

The Austrian World Summit is a climate conference. Since 2017, it takes place annually in Vienna, aiming at connecting stakeholders from politics, civil society, and business to create a broad alliance for climate protection. And as per tradition, the Commando actor spoke at this year’s Summit as well.

Every year, at the World Summit, they discuss various issues and try to get their solutions together. However, this year’s theme is ‘We Have the Power’ about which the actor proudly boasted on his Instagram profile. Apart from discussing issues and trying to get solutions, this year is about networking as well.

The winners of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, Kalush Orchestra, also performed live on stage. The Ukrainian band also raised awareness of their war-torn home country. Organizers of the Summit also demonstrated their ongoing commitment to the people of Ukraine, along with sending a powerful message of peace.

Each one of us has more power than we know, and together, we can terminate pollution and build a clean future for us and the next generation. This was the primary focus of this year’s AWS.
