“Australians are actually terrible..."- Ryan Reynolds Takes a Cheeky Jab at Hugh Jackman, in Response to Chris Hemsworth's Leak Tease

One reason the Deadpool franchise is so iconic is the hilarious rivalry Ryan Reynolds always stirs up with his co-stars. His faux feud with Hugh Jackman has perfectly made its way to the screen, becoming the primary source of gags at the theaters. However, it is not just Jackman that Reynolds loves to poke fun at. It seems the actor has a thing for ribbing Australians as a whole. Recently, Reynolds brought another Australian MCU star, Chris Hemsworth, into his famous banter.

Reynolds threw a jab at both Hemsworth and Jackman for their inability to keep up with one particular aspect that has been integral to Deadpool & Wolverine.

Deadpool & Wolverine were filled with unexpected surprises, cameos, and MCU references. Though there had been many leaks from the sets, strategic or not, maintaining secrecy around the movie was crucial for the 2024 blockbuster. However, Ryan Reynolds feels that his Australian co-stars are the worst at exactly that. Recently, as Chris Hemsworth commented on the much-talked-about Thor cameo, saying, “I can keep secrets too,” Reynolds responded, with, “Australians are actually terrible secret keepers.”

Reynolds then began to troll Hugh Jackman. The 47-year-old joked about how they had to hide the shooting of a Wolverine movie “till halfway through filming” from Jackman because of the Logan actor’s inability to keep secrets. Nonetheless, the mystery of “Why Thor was crying” with Deadpool in his arms should be more than enough to draw audiences to the MCU’s next big adventure.

Fans have, as usual, been cracking up at the hilarious tweet of Ryan Reynolds.

Ryan Reynolds’ playful jab at his Australian co-stars has fans cracking up

One of the biggest questions that came out of Deadpool & Wolverine was whether Thor crying meant that Deadpool would die in the future. However, considering that the Merc with a Mouth is immortal and that Deadpool’s tenure in the MCU has just begun, it is quite unlikely that the character will be written off this soon. Ryan Reynolds obviously knows why Thor was crying and he “can’t unknow it.” But the actor’s unease about his co-stars not being able to keep the secret alive has had the internet in stitches.

Fans began poking fun at Hugh Jackman as well, along with Ryan Reynolds.

There is a chance that the Thor cameo was just a ploy by the MCU to fiddle with the minds of the audience. It could have been merely a joke, as the scene resembled the moment when Thor was crying for his brother Loki, holding him as he was seemingly dying. With the next two Avengers installments arriving soon, fans will hopefully be able to unveil more about the anticipated meetup of Marvel Jesus with the God of Thunder.
