Prince Harry is seeking a huge damage control in his battle against famed media houses. About four years have passed since the Duke of Sussex took legal action against the owners of The Sun and other publishers. The dispute started over the alleged illegal phone hacking and breaking into his personal life. Most recently, Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News agreed to settle the lawsuit with $787.5m (£635m). However, it appears the royal did not accept the offer and is going to pull The Sun’s former editor Rebekah Brooks into this scandal.

According to The Guardian, Prince Harry is going to claim at least £200,000 in damages when the hearing starts on Tuesday. The court will move forward with his claims about hacking voicemails. Not to forget, the private investigators who were hired to keep an eye on his private life. These incidents took place in the 2000s when Brooks was The Sun’s editor.

In the upcoming court trial, the 38-year-old is expected to present fresh testimony about the whole scandal. This will include how the media interference has affected his relationships and family. The duke has also expressed his feelings for Brooks in his book Spare, who was a part of all this. “Everyone who knew her was in full agreement that she was an infected pustule on the arse of humanity, plus a shit excuse for a journalist,” he remarked.
