The world witnessed the grand coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla two days ago. The new monarchs are ready to officially take ownership of the crown, along with the responsibilities. However, the release of these portraits has brought back memories of someone special from the past.

The photographs were captured by Hugo Burnand and feature the King seated on the 1902 throne chair, adorned in the Imperial State Crown and holding the Orb and Sceptre with a Cross. These images were taken after the coronation ceremony.
