As Meghan Markle Sparkles in NYC for Her Award, King Charles Feels a “Slap in the Face” Claim, Royal Expert
America has been in a state of glee since last night’s celebration of power and progress at the Ms. Foundations. The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, glittered in gold as she visited the big city of New York to receive the Women of Vision Award. The accolade was for the recognition of her outstanding work in relentlessly advocating women’s rights and empowerment since time immemorial. Nonetheless, the controversies and criticism can, of course, never get tired of the Duchess. As she celebrates her big win in the States, people in the Kingdom are not so happy regarding the same.
During the grand royal spectacle earlier this month in the United Kingdom, Meghan Markle’s glaring absence made eyebrows hit the ceiling. As of now, her grand celebration in the States having won the prestigious award hasn’t sat right with the Englishmen. As reported by Fox News, the Britishers have found it a bit derogatory to witness the estranged Duchess celebrating while having missed their new King’s coronation ceremony.

Royal author Christopher Anderson gushed to Fox News Digital that the timing “could not have been more wrong.” The Duchess did not find it necessary to be present at the once-in-a-generation occasion of King Charles. However, they now witness her going all smiles in a typical American vogue to collect her award.
Recalling how King Charles filled up for the Duchess’ father’s role on her wedding day, Anderson expressed, “What a slap in the face to the man who walked her down the aisle…” The expert seemed agitated about Meghan Markle returning the favor to King Charles in the most hurtful ways possible.
He further criticized the Duchess for not understanding Prince Harry’s actual emotions that he harbors for his family, although estranged.

Speaking of Prince Harry’s appearance at the Award show along with Markle, Anderson stated that he resembles “a fish out of the water”. According to him, it does not take an expert to confirm that Prince Harry “is still hurting.” Anderson is thus under the notion that, had Meghan Markle really understood Prince Harry, she would have tried her best to help him mend his relations with his estranged family.
