As Kate Middleton and Prince William Match Outfits With King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla, Netizens Tag Meghan Markle a ‘Liar’
The royal family, for the first time in years, has stepped out in matching outfits to celebrate Easter. From the most senior of the royal family member, King Charles, to Kate Middleton’s youngest, Prince Louis, who made his royal family Easter debut, all were decked in blue. Hence, passing all the requirements to be termed ‘iconic’. While the members who were present at the occasion looked stunning, somehow Meghan Markle has once again stolen the spotlight.
With their matching blue outfits, it is clear that the royal family was out to make a fashion statement. However, they seem to have done much more than that. It is ironic how at a time when the debates about the royal family breaking apart owing to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are at an all-time high; they have stepped out together, coordinated not only in their style but also in their smile. And this fashion statement may have also marked their first in retaliation for that of the Sussexes.

The British monarchs have always been notorious for their stiff upper lips. That is not to say that they do not find other ways of getting their points across. This is exactly what fans are defining their latest matching outfit phenomenon as. And for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have seemingly lost their stiff upper lip, this has proved to be disastrous.”To my understanding, you can’t ever wear the same color as Her Majesty if there’s a group event,” Markle said in the Harry & Meghan docuseries. And the recent royal outing has clearly refuted her claims.
The blue Easter outfits are not the only evidence that netizens have put forth to deem Meghan Markle a ‘liar’. Following the release of the docuseries, they rebutted with numerous pictures of the royal family dressed in the same shade.
Contrary to her statement that reads, “You also shouldn’t be wearing the same color as one of the other more senior members of the family,”. This could either be the royal family mending their ‘perfect family’ image or a jibe at Markle’s claims.

The Duchess of Sussex did not state it as a fact. Moreover, a majority would agree that it is a first in a long time, or a first in general, that the royal family has all stepped out in matching outfits. To further help her case is the fact that Kate Middleton and Prince William are also ‘senior members’ and are not turning the royal style guide upside down by twinning with the King and Queen.
