Did you know pet pigs, rather, celebrity pet pigs are a thing? Yes! there are people who actually like to snuggle up with their snorting pals. And this is not a recent trend. Ever since the turn of the century, various taxonomists across the world have suggested that people now take pride in petting pigs, and no, it is not for meat, but for companionship. And it seems like the celebrities were not far behind as well. The likes of Miley Cyrus and George Clooney have kept them as their pets for decades. Now, the Austrian-American actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger also joined the team.

The 75-year-old pet dad recently took to his Twitter account to post a picture of the brand-new addition to his family, a micro pig named Schnelly. He would notably caption the post, “The family is growing. Meet Schnelly.” The family, if you are wondering, consists of all his pets that include four really cute pet dogs (namely, Dutch, Noodle, Cherry, and Schnitzel). He also has a donkey named Lulu, and Whiskey, the miniature pony. 

Talking about his new piglet’s name, he explained to Fox News how she was really fast when arrived home, looking at which, his girlfriend Heather Milligan came up with the name Schnelly (from schnell) which means ‘fast’ in German.
