Why creators deleted a key scene from The Terminator? 

The Terminator producer Gale Ann Hurd recently took to Twitter (now X) to make a revelation about the action franchise. The tweet stated that James Cameron had to delete a crucial scene from Terminator 3. The financiers made a deal with him to cast his friends instead of actors. It happened because “they were promised a return on their investment and had yet to receive one” said the American creator.

Seeing this, one fan asked if the Oscar winner cut the financiers’ friends because they were no good on the screen. She replied even back then, Cameron was never okay with anything less than excellence. For the unversed, this key deleted scene featured the recovery of the T-800’s arm and chip, which eventually led to the war between humanity and the machines.

For this, he referred to his movies, saying that The Terminator alarmed the world decades before anyone knew about it.

It predicted that machines will become self-aware at some point and will destroy people. Now it has become the reality as people see artificial intelligence taking over the world. He gushed over James Cameron, who had such a futuristic mind that thought of all those things back in the 80s.
