Arnold Schwarzenegger is the human compass for many people grappling with setbacks. His life is a true success story that has the power to motivate and empower millions each day. Born and raised in the backdrop of a war-stricken Austria, he had a difficult upbringing marred by poverty and hardships. However, it was these adversities that inspired Schwarzenegger to want to escape from Austria to America.

He not only became the most celebrated bodybuilder but also carved out his niche in Hollywood as the quintessential action hero. After making it big in the industry, Schwarzenegger tried his hands at numerous entrepreneurial endeavors. However, not many people know that he was already a little entrepreneur at the age of ten.

Schwarzenegger found a way out of the grips of poverty at the age of fifteen after learning about the bodybuilding champion, Reg Park, who made it into Hollywood. Following in his footsteps, Schwarzenegger went on to become the European Champion bodybuilder at the astonishing age of 20. However, the 76-year-old began his grind at an even younger age when he was only ten. White talking to Tim Ferriss on Tuesday, the former bodybuilder talked about his first business gig as an ice cream seller.

The Austrian Oak revealed that the money was a “necessity” to buy his training suits and tennis shoes, which were not within his parents’ budget. This pushed Schwarzenegger to whip up an interesting business plan. He decided to deliver ice creams to people hanging around the lake, rather than having those people go all the way to the front to buy ice-creams. In no time, the little boy made 180 shillings by delivering ice cream, allowing him to afford a training suit and tennis shoes.

The Terminator star is not only popular for his jaw-dropping action sequences but also for his epic one-liners before or after knocking the bad guys off. However, what made his catchphrases even more peculiar was his heavy Austrian accent. The actor in the past came under scrutiny for his accent in movies like Conan The Barbarian. This pushed him to seek out “accent removal lessons” as soon as his career took off.

Recently, the Commando star kicked off the late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live! after a dark hiatus of five months. In the episode, he promoted his book, Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life, and shared some interesting insights about his parenting. The actor also revealed that he used to take lessons from the speech doctor Robert East decades ago. However, he admitted that the classes did no good to his accent and that he should get his “money back“.
