Schwarzenegger’s name has become synonymous with high-octane action films. However, before creating his name as the quintessential action hero of the ’80s, he was primarily popular for his bodybuilding achievements. The 1982 movie, Conan The Barbarian, is one such movie that not only did justice to the former bodybuilder’s physique, but also helped catapult his career in the Hollywood industry. However, the American epic sword and sorcery film will soon be vanishing from the platform after 31st October.

Despite receiving a mixed critical reception, the movie is significant for the now 76-year-old for numerous reasons. Firstly, it established Schwarzenegger as a leading man in Hollywood. The actor also showcased his skills as an action hero in the movie by performing nearly all his stunts by himself. However, the film was not a cakewalk, as it faced several production delays until Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox finally signed on to produce the movie.

Apart from his reputation as the most popular action hero of all time, Schwarzenegger is also known for delivering iconic one-liners. It is one of his trademarks to throw out catchy lines just before or after taking down the villains. Recently, during his appearance on the late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actor dished on one of his most popular phrases, “I’ll be back” from the 1984 American sci-fi film.

Kimmel asked the actor if he had any idea how popular “I’ll be back” would be during the making of the movie. To which the Commando star revealed that he was, in fact, against the one-liner and even had an argument with the writer. Schwarzenegger thought that the line would sound better if the writer changed it from “I’ll..” to “I will..”. However, the makers decided to go by their original choice for the line, which went on to become symbolic of the Golden Age of Hollywood.
