Amazon Audible recently shared the link to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s audiobook with a caption saying, “What is Arnold @Schwarzenegger’s secret to success? Listen now and find out”. For quite some time, Schwarzenegger has been busy promoting his book, Be Useful, on various platforms. He appeared on many podcasts to talk about his life lessons and struggles. During these interviews, fans got to learn about the impact his father, the late Gustav Schwarzenegger, had on him.
Notably, days before re-sharing Audible’s tweet, the former bodybuilder re-shared one of his fans’ tweets, which talked about one of his core memories as a child. This tweet had a connection to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s father and the methods Austrians used to employ to discipline the children.

Gustav Schwarzenegger was a strict Nazi soldier who lived by uncompromising principles. Despite having difficulties getting along, the FUBAR star learned some of the most valuable life lessons from his father. A few days back, a user shared a screenshot of a page from Be Useful on X, formerly known as Twitter. This page talked about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s childhood events and the demon-like figure Krampus, who punished the bad village kids on Christmas.
Schwarzenegger in his book revealed how his father became that monster several times for other village kids to teach them discipline. The user shared the post with a caption saying, “The Austrians sure have a way with child-rearing”. To which The Terminator actor replied, saying, “If my book teaches Americans about Krampus, it’s a success”. Considering the fact that Schwarzenegger drew inspiration for the name of his book from his late father’s lessons, it is safe to say that Be Useful will unfold a lot about the late police chief’s values and principles in life.
