The 76-year-old actor built himself such a staggering physique that every action flick with high-octane thrill had to involve him. However, such movies often involve heavy set-building, stuntmen, and supporting actors. Thus, in order to have the movie shine, directors bet big on who they choose.

In a case of pin-point accuracy of nailing the role, Schwarzenegger’s 90s starrer, Kindergarten Cop, went one step ahead by having a former gangster play a supporting cast.

Released in 1990, the Ivan Reitman directorial is one of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s best-received movies. The plot which involved a perfect blend of action-comedy has the actor portray a kindergarten teacher who is actually an undercover cop. The action scenes involved Chinese-American actor Galen Yuen as a supporting cast. Yuen was a former member of the Suey Sing gang that operated murky businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The actor who died of a blood infection in 2015 moved around his teenage years and much of his adult life with a gun. In an Apple podcast by his niece, it has now come to light that he had featured among the likes of Schwarzenegger. Interestingly, his time in Hollywood was not that of crime but of redemption. After spending jail time in the ’70s and on a life-changing journey, Yeun took to small roles and later acted mentor to aspiring Asian actors.
