Marvel is swiftly moving into its Phase 6, and this means larger-than-life stories with some of the greatest stars of all time. Given how the previous phase had already covered the likes of Robert Downey Jr, Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Scarlett Johansson, and more, the stakes are high for the superhero universe. Fans are hoping for Marvel to crack the ultimate deal with the man who wreaked havoc at the box office with his high on action performances- Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Schwarzenegger has made another smashing comeback to the industry and made it clear that he is here to stay. And given that he already has family in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, another great role is just around the corner for the Austrian Oak. But is the actor looking to abandon DC?

Will Arnold Schwarzenegger join the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

With his Netflix series FUBAR, the actor did more than just make an impressive comeback at 75. Schwarzenegger reflected on the milestones of his past and what fans can expect from his future. And when asked if the actor had any plans to join the MCU, he said as per Men’s Health, “If the role is right!”

The former bodybuilder has made clear over the promotion of FUBAR that he is putting a stop to projects that are not well-written. And this followed the shocking confession of him being “done” with Terminator.

The Austrian Oak seems to be more than willing to take up a role in the MCU if the writing impresses. And avid fans cannot help but think this has something to do with Sylvester Stallone.

Is the Austrian Oak once again following Sylvester Stallone’s footsteps?

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone were the leading men of Hollywood for quite a few years. But that did not necessarily mean the two held the position with smiles and arms around each other shoulders. While Schwarzenegger was still hunting for roles that would pull massive numbers at the box office, Stallone had already established himself.

The Austrian Oak, after a while, tried with all his might to take any role that was rumored to be given to Sylvester Stallone. Or so the Rocky star believed he did. And this also includes Conan the Barbarian. This trend took a break as Schwarzenegger went to the Oval Office to become the Governor of California. But looks like he is back in action and taking the lead of Sylvester Stallone’s step into the MCU after the former stunned with guest roles in Guardians of the Galaxy.
