In an interview with SFX via Redanian Intelligence from 2019, Cavill delved into his ultimate Hollywood fantasy. “Any game I play which I enjoy, I’m like, ‘Could it make a good movie? Could it make a TV show?’” confessed Cavill while speaking about his dream of materializing video games into visual spectacles. As he prepares to helm Warhammer 40K  through Amazon while serving as its producer, his dreams certainly look to be taking shape. When he encountered engaging games like The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, he was left wondering if they would make for the perfect fantasy “TV show” or a “good movie”. He always found it “fun” to pioneer such ideas. Especially if he gets to “play” the characters himself like he will get to do with Warhammer 40K. And this is not the first time he manifested his hopes in this way.

Even for The Witcher, the 40-year-old underwent a similar process before bagging Geralt’s part.

With persistence, he would call his agent “literally every day. Eventually, they finally got through to them and made his interest in the part known. His continuous efforts paid off as he finally achieved his hopes of landing the role in 2019. Now with Warhammer 40K to his name, it seems he is among the lucky few who can foretell their future by indulging their deepest wishes.
