According to an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dafne Keen credited Andrew Garfield for teaching her the art of hiding her surprise appearance in a movie. "All the inspo comes from Andrew Garfield," Keen said. "He is the master at this,” she added, who reprised her role for the first time since playing Logan and managed to keep it under wraps until the big reveal.
Dafne Keen's surprise appearance would be no less than a tribute to her own skill and Garfield's guidance. Garfield had to keep his surprise reappearance as Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home under wraps, and it seems he passed on his expertise to Keen. With Garfield as her inspiration, Keen was able to pull off an impressive surprise that left fans thrilled.
Andrew Garfield, however, is not the only inspiration that drove Deadpool & Wolverine. The new antagonist, Emma Corrin, too drew inspiration for their role from not one but many legends.

The newfound villain in charge, Emma Corrin, drew inspiration from iconic villains to prepare for her role as Cassandra Nova in Deadpool & Wolverine, as she confessed to The Hollywood Reporter months ago. They studied Gene Wilder's portrayal of Willy Wonka, deeming him "one of the best villains of all time." Corrin admired Wilder's ability to convey a sense of unpredictability and danger beneath a charming facade.
Emma Corrin also looked to Christoph Waltz's performance as a Nazi officer in Inglourious Basterds. They aimed to capture a similar level of sophistication and menace in their own portrayal of Cassandra Nova. By combining elements from these cinematic antagonists, Corrin crafted a unique and compelling take on the character, which was even vouched for by the mastermind, Reynolds himself.
