Hollywood is currently in a chaotic condition due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Actors and writers have been protesting constantly to get fair deals from the production studios. The late-night talk show hosts began a podcast series, Strike Force Five, to exclusively discuss the intricacies of the strikes. Despite being one of the most significant supporters of the strikes, Ryan Reynolds did not find a place among these hosts.

The Deadpool star openly supported the ongoing strikes on various levels. However, the actor could not be one of the hosts of the podcast series. But he found a way to be a part of the team with his brilliant creativity.

Apart from being a stunning actor, the Canadian actor has also established himself as a skillful entrepreneur as well. Therefore, when the hosts, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver, did not allow him to be a part of their podcast, he found his own way. Every time, Reynolds does something extremely interesting with his Mint Mobile advertisements. This time, he bought an ad space in the podcast and marked his presence. Not only did he make his space, but the actor also announced a major deal.

The Vancouver-born, in a Mint Mobile ad, shared how he also wanted to be a host of the podcast and asked the team multiple times. Unfortunately, none of them replied except for John Oliver, who also made fun of him. So, instead of being sad and angry about it, channeling his energies, Reynolds bought an ad space to give fans some important information. As the Wrexham AFC co-owner revealed, Mint lowered its prices, offering users to get unlimited services for just $15 a month.

Although Mint Wireless is raising its prices, the company is offering this offer for a limited time. Informing fans about this novel scheme, the actor admitted, “And that’s the only reason I bought this ad space.” It was not a sad celebrity seeking validation, as he revealed. Therefore, the actor also said, “We don’t need any of you,” bringing in his classic wit. The 46-year-old actor is famous for the use of his sense of humor.

Reynolds’ sense of humor is one of the reasons fans adore him so much. Instead of making ads only, he also includes the contemporary trend. While the world is moving toward artificial intelligence, once, the Green Lantern actor used an AI tool in one of the advertisements. He asked Chat GPT to create a Mint Mobile advertisement for him. Yes, he gave the tool the specific requirements as well.

In one of the advertisements, the actor invited a real user who made the People’s Choice Award winner feel non-influential. His creativity reached the next level when he used his love for the Welsh football team in the ad. And now, he used his feelings of abandonment to create an entertaining and delicate advertisement.
