Since the big announcement of the return of the Merc with a Mouth, fans have been assuming what is going to happen. While building mystery around the plot of the film, the Deadpool team has created a lot of excitement by introducing the MCU and X-Men characters into the film. Amidst all the delay because of the strikes, Director Shawn Levy, actors Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman are eager to go back to the sets of the film.

In contrast to the disappointing updates surrounding the release of Deadpool 3, be it its release date or the slashing of Earth 383, Shawn Levy has an exciting update for fans.

The production has already suffered a huge delay in filming along with the pushed release date. And the recent update about the release of the movie might shock fans. While speaking to The Wrap Levy said, “Certainly, the actors’ strike and the long pause in production have put that release date at true risk.” The statement clearly means the movie might not make it to the theatres at the anticipated release date.

The Free Guy director also revealed he had edited half of the movie. However, because of the actors’ strike, the remaining filming might take a little more time than anticipated. He also eagerly mentioned everyone was dying to go back to the set to complete filming the half of the movie. This is not the first time he expressed the restlessness of the cast to go back to work.

The eagerness of the Deadpool 3 cast and crew to get the show back on the road is witnessed by the new additions to the cast. However, when it comes to dedication to their work, perhaps Levy holds a higher ground than the rest. Neither the strikes nor a vacation could get his mind off work.

The Canadian director can not stay away from work

Amidst the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dating rumors entering the entire Deadpool team, curtsy of a star-studded outing consisting of Blake Lively, and attending the Chief’s match, Shawn Levy could only think of one thing. On his X handle, formerly known as Twitter, the Deadpool 3 director stated that he would rather work than be there at the stadium watching the football match.

On one hand, the entire world is talking about the American pop star because of the dating rumors and her Eras Tour film. On the other hand, Levy could not stop thinking about his unfinished work on both his series and movie. Now, with this huge statement about the film’s release, he has sent fans into yet another shock.
