Meghan Markle is always remembered for her role on Suits, but ever since she married into the Royal Family, those days seemed to be over. But after Prince Harry and she decided to give up their titles, it looks like the mother of two could be making her way back to the big screen. Earlier this year, Markle fuelled the speculation that she would be making a Hollywood comeback after she signed with William Morris Endeavor.

However, the agency immediately came out saying that Markle would not be getting back into acting as it was not her focus at the moment. But now, the 42-year-old has been put back in the spotlight for trying to befriend an Oscar-winning actress.

Meghan Markle’s new “mission”

According to an insider of Star Magazine via The News, it has been revealed that Meghan Markle had “made it her mission” to become friends with the Pretty Woman star, Julia Roberts. The insider continued that though the stars had only bumped into each other “a few times,” the Duchess of Sussex seems “determined” to team up with the 55-year-old star. They went on to say that the perfect scenario would be for the two women to collaborate on something fashion or wellness-focused.

However, given that Markle has her own production company now, things might be a lot easier if they decided to work together. It would also give fans the collaboration that no one knew they needed. The sudden revelation from the source does not come as much of a surprise, as Markle has made it abundantly clear that she adores Julia Roberts over the years. The revelation comes after speculations that Meghan Markle would be teaming up with Oscar winner, Leonardo DiCaprio for Meet Me At The Lake.

Meghan Markle even named the Runaway Bride actress in a list of 10 women who changed her life. But she also revealed that the best compliment she had gotten was one that said she looked like the three-time Golden Globe winner.

Meghan Markle is a Julia Roberts fan

Back in 2017, when Markle was still at the peak of her popularity, she sat down with Glamour and revealed her list of women who inspired her. Unsurprisingly, Julia Roberts also made a cameo on the Suits star’s list. The Duchess said that Roberts was the first person on screen that made her fall in love with acting and pursue that field. She even said that she had received her greatest compliment when she was younger. The compliment was that Meghan Markle looked like Julia Roberts from certain angles.

After that interview was done, Julia Roberts made her way onto Good Morning America and gave the cutest reaction to being on Markle’s list. And even turned her head a couple of times just to check which angle they both shared in common. While there is no confirmation about a so-called collaboration, the possibility of one does not seem impossible.
