The Sussex Foundation led by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has forever worked towards welfare and betterment of society. Be it war refugees, basic rights, deprived, or merely the poor, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have lent a helping hand to all. The Prince, however, is currently handling a couple of legal cases against the “utterly vile” British tabloids. Owing the same, while everyone thought they would lose track of their work, the couple has proved them wrong.

As reported by the Independent, the Sussex Foundation, Archewell, has donated €10,000 to a fundraiser. The donation aims to get a book of “raw and inspirational” stories from around the globe to inspire the young minds of the United Kingdom. The stories, as reported, will particularly focus on motivational anecdotes from ethnic minorities. Its goal is to introduce such books into every state secondary school in the Kingdom. The book that the Sussexes have been funding is entitled, A Colourful View From The Top and is curated by Jonathan Mildenhall.

The book picks up on short yet inspiring stories by entrepreneurs, and exclusives from thought leaders, all from minority backgrounds. The novel aims to change the narrative of their communities in the eyes of the world. Mildenhall, the book’s curator, pledged, he “won’t rest until I know that there is a copy of this book in every single high school in the UK.”

On Wednesday, as Prince Harry fought through the high-wire act at London’s High Court, the organization wrote a few lines to acknowledge the couple’s contribution. Mildenhall revealed that they have a set target of €82,000. Nonetheless, the target now seems closer thanks to the Sussexes. The fund now stands halfway at €42,000 already.

The GoFundMe page the other day read, “Hello and thank you to our amazing donors. We’re more than halfway there at £42k raised!” Prior to this, the self-exiled pair contributed to various noble causes across the globe. They recently helped to set up a playground in collaboration with KABOOM, to create a safe space for the people of war-struck Uvalde. They also helped provide mental health aid to places in Turkey and Syria after being affected by a tremendous earthquake.
