Of late, the royal household has been seeping rapidly into grim tidings with adverse information concerning the regal figures. Only hours ago the news came in with verification from the Buckingham Palace that King Charles III had been diagnosed with cancer. Although the palace did not reveal the type of cancer, it mentioned that the King had begun “regular treatments” on Monday. Shortly after, reports also surged in about Prince Harry flying straight to the UK to be by the side of his ailing father but without his better half, Meghan Markle.

Even though Prince Harry’s flying out of the States would assume Markle’s accompaniment, it seems she has a good reason to stay back to miss out on a royal reunion after all.

A few weeks ago, the reports of King Charles suffering from a prostate enlargement showered in cues for his undergoing surgery. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, the palace officials came to inform of the King’s cancer developments. Following the disclosure, the Monarch’s youngest son seems to be all set for the fly to be beside the King. However, amidst these rush hour developments, Meghan Markle is reportedly not accompanying the Prince to stay back with Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie in the US.

The chances are that the Duchess will also miss out on the crucial royal family reunion since this setback could mettle out a difficult truce between the estranged siblings, Prince Harry and William. Especially since the King made sure to call Prince William personally as well to inform him about the unfortunate news, a reluctant union could be well in the works on royal soil. However, Markle is assumably remaining back in Montecito to give company to their kids.

Buckingham Palace revealed that during King Charles’ hospital procedure for prostate enlargement, “a separate issue of concern was noted.”. It was apparently the subsequent diagnostics that led to the confirmation that it was a cancer threat. Although the type of cancer needs disclosure by the officials, the statement did mention the King being “wholly positive about it” and aiming to return to “full public duty as soon as possible.”.

Since this also means the Kings’ hiatus from public-facing duties for now, the Princes might pick up some of the engagements on the Kings’ behalf if required. However, in that way, it even calls for an uneasy get-together of the royal brothers ever since their last fall-off.
