After years of putting Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith on a mantle for their ability to stick by each other’s side, fans recently got a reality check that sent the internet spiraling. In her latest interview, while promoting her memoir, Worthy, the actress opened up about divorce and separation rumors. The Girls Trip star left the world in shock by announcing that she and her husband have been separated for seven years now.

With the bombshells being dropped by the Matrix star, fans have dug up old images of Will Smith with Margot Robbie. Recently, a fan on X (formerly known as Twitter) brought back the infamous pictures of Smith and Robbie. While the incident might have been just some innocent fun between friends, fans could not help but wonder if something was going on. In the caption, the user claimed “Will Smith be looking at this a couple times a month.”

The pictures that initially went viral in 2013 caused a massive uproar back then, as many questioned the friendship between Smith and Robbie. However, instead of the outrage that they once felt, this time a lot of social media users felt as though The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star had “fumbled the bag.”

Back in 2013, the duo stirred up a lot of speculation after photo booth pictures showed the two posing together and making funny faces. In one of the pictures, both the stars could be seen posing with their shirts up., which caused dating speculations to fly off the handle. However, after causing quite the ruckus the first time around, this time the comment section was filled with fans wishing that the stars had gotten together back then.

While most social media users believed that Will Smith had majorly “fumbled” the bag by picking Jada Pinkett Smith over Robbie, there were those who thought the star had missed the “opportunity of a lifetime.”

There were also some users who were holding out hope that the stars could “secretly” be together. However, that could cause a whole other slew of speculations as Margot Robbie is married to film producer Tom Ackerley.

After all these years, fans are still hoping that the two could amount to something. However, Smith and Robbie put rumors to rest years ago by claiming they were just good friends. But the speculations are nowhere close to slowing down as fans are really riled up after Pinkett’s latest revelations.
