Henry Cavill is at the epicenter of many groundbreaking projects currently ranging from action-filled espionage to his favorite genre of all, fantasy. While The Witcher actor may have his hands full with the ongoing premiere of Argylle at the moment, his other projects are not on the sidelines but constantly in his focus. After fulfilling his long-held dream of portraying a suave spy through Argylle, fans of the Brit expect to see him return to Warhammer 40k, for which he will serve as both actor and producer.

The 40-year-old just hinted at something along those lines in a recent interview.

While speaking to Collider earlier today, Cavill confessed that Amazon’s Warhammer 40k “is progressing very well” so far. Not only that, but the actor also remarked thatbig things are happening regarding the fantasy series that he and his girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso, are working on together. Just last month, the show was given the green light by Amazon after both parties reached a full agreement.

So, with things finally moving along, the Man of Steel actor was feeling “very excited” about it all. After all, this is one project Cavill has a massive fascination for. Even the game’s creators had reciprocated this admiration by granting him an action figure of his own years ago. They modeled the High Elf Loremaster figurine after the British actor as a tribute to his obsession with the game.

A few years back, Cavill had spoken of his fascination with gaming and why he wanted to turn games like Warhammer 40k into shows.

In 2019, Cavill revealed his desire to turn games that he enjoys playing into movies or TV shows. According to him, the business end of his brain realized the potential such projects hold. Especially when it comes to catering to the large market of gaming and fantasy nerds like himself, The Tudors actor had plenty of experience. This is why he pioneered and pushed the idea of creating Netflix’s The Witcher series too!

Well, if he got the chance to portray these characters that he loved so much himself, what more could one ask for? Now, helming Warhammer 40k while simultaneously portraying the lead in it, he certainly seems to be living his dream. Fans expect a dedicated performance from him since he will have a lot more control of it while acting as a producer as well.
