Taylor Swift may have taken over the world with her ‘Eras Tour’ recently, but it seems like the singer has gotten attention for a much different reason lately. Ever since the rumors broke that Swift had a little something to do with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, the world seems to have nothing else it can focus on. But while the world was paying attention to the surrounding speculations, it was Netflix that found an incredible opportunity to promote its newer sports documentaries from earlier this year.

With Taylor Swift pretty much dominating every headline, it looks like the streaming giant wants to push some of that love their own way. Netflix’s post also revealed that fans are not the only ones paying attention to the rumors.

Earlier today, Netflix took to its official X, formerly known as Twitter, page to share a clip of Travis Kelce after one of his games. While the snippet showed the 33-year-old grinning into the camera after a big win, it was the caption that ended up grabbing attention. The video was captioned with, Need to watch quarterback again for research.” Although it may have seemed like the platform was trying to get Kelce the attention he deserves, in reality, it was a plug for one of their own documentaries.

Quarterback is a Netflix series that dropped earlier this year. It focuses on the Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, the Minnesota Vikings’ Kirk Cousins, and the Atlanta Falcons’ Marcus Mariota, and just like the title, they are all professional athletes. Although Travis Kelce is not part of the documentary, it would not be surprising if viewers could see him pop up during the recorded practices. So while it may not be completely helpful, the eight-episode documentary gives fans a little more of an insight into the star.

Even though the plug for Quarterback seemed random, the post came shortly after Taylor Swift fuelled the dating rumors even further by showing up at one of Travis Kelce’s games.

Are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce official yet?

Over the weekend, Taylor Swift, who recently became the second most-awarded female artist, added a little fuel to the fire of the relationship rumors surrounding her and Travis Kelce. After weeks of speculation on whether they were an item or not, the ‘Shake It Off’ singer decided to confuse everyone even further by showing up to a game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Chicago Bears. What threw most people off was the fact that she was up in the stands along with Kelce’s mother.

Although neither of the stars has publicly confirmed anything so far, Swifties all over the world seem to be sure that something is going on. But while fans wait for Swift and Kelce to confirm the rumors, at least they have the cute videos of the singer cheering on her maybe-boyfriend. And a new 8-episode series to introduce them to the NFL world as well.
