Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been living in their Montecito home with their two children since stepping down from their royal duties. This home has been their little oasis, providing them with some peace, privacy, and stability amid the media chaos and mountain-like controversies. But beyond just its sentimental value, the property is also highly sought after for its perfect blend of comfort and luxury by real estate enthusiasts. However, the very mansion now faces a serious risk, as wildfires have been tearing through LA.

It seems Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might even need to vacate their Montecito home due to the escalating wildfire danger.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Montecito residence is currently in a "high fire risk" zone, according to a statement from Southern California Edison to The Telegraph. The spokesperson informed the outlet that residents in the Montecito area are being contacted regularly, though it is unclear if the Duke and Duchess have received a notice yet. The implication is that they may need to move to a safer location.

Several other celebrities in the area, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Oprah Winfrey, could face evacuation as well. Winfrey, in particular, has dealt with property damage from wildfires and mudslides in the past as well. Therefore, she is familiar with such disasters. Alongside these property evacuations, many major Hollywood events have also been canceled or postponed in light of the ongoing natural disaster. This news of Montecito being at high risk came shortly after Markle shared a rare glimpse inside her Montecito home.
