However, in a surprising turn of events it was no other than the couple’s former friend, Omid Scobie who came out with a few shocking revelations of his own in Endgame. While his book came as quite a surprise to the world, it looks like the author did not want to stop there.

Now, after the book’s massive translation failure in the Netherlands, the author seems to be opening up about his thoughts on the royal brothers’ relationship.

For years now, the world has watched as Prince Harry and Prince William’s brotherly bond has dwindled down into mere acquaintance. However, while their fans continue to speculate, Endgame author, Omid Scobie has opened up about their relationship in an exclusive interview with E! News. While he initially compared the two and their once mutual hatred of the media, the conversation soon took a turn into their current relationship.

Scobie went on to say that it was “sad” that they had let their relationship stay in the shambled state it is in. However, he also revealed that there “hasn’t been a conversation of any worth or substance” between the princes. Although they might not be on the best of terms, thankfully, they do plan to keep up with one special Christmas tradition.

Scobie’s sudden insider scoop comes shortly after Prince William accused the author of not being honest in a certain conversation from Endgame.

Shortly before Endgame hit bookshelves all over the world, Prince William voiced his thoughts on the book. While he had gotten first-hand access to the book, it was soon revealed that he was not pleased with what was in it. In the book, it said that the heir to the royal family throne had once ignored his younger brother’s call at a very important moment.

It was during Queen Elizabeth’s final moments. While that could answer the questions surrounding their relationship, the Prince of Wales has claimed that the whole scenario did not play out that way. Although the world might never know what actually went down between the two, that has not stopped them from hoping for a reconciliation sometime in the future.
