Fresh off the release of her series With Love, Megan, the ex-royal family and ex-Suits star, Meghan Markle only needs more to suffice for the multifaceted nature of life that ensues with being a figure this belonging-to-the-public. There needs to be some outlet for the unbridled connection that has budded between her audience and herself. With excitement abuzz for the launching of her latest announced podcast, Confession of a Female Founder, it has not been lost on the internet that this is not the first time Meghan Markle has set foot on an audio-heavy, sit-and-talk format of share and tell. Gracie Award winning project, the $18 million deal that the Archetypes podcast was, was obviously well received by the audience but later revealed to have been dropped off, and canceled, by Daniel Ek, head of Spotify. Podcast here and interviews and brand launches there, the surplus of material on Markle has made it difficult to choose where to begin from, but it does make apparent where not to.
A new day, a new show: Meghan Markle's journey to being seen.
Following the remarkable success achieved by the docu-series Harry & Meghan in 2022, Meghan Markle's standalone new spin-off has left a bland taste on the tongue. In the face of the aforementioned documentation's success, With Love, Meghan failed to bring back the enthusiasm that was tractioned by the former. Despite the media buzz, it only narrowly reached Netflix's top ten, ranking tenth with 61.8 million viewing hours. This contrasts sharply with Harry & Meghan's record-breaking 81.6 million viewing hours in three days. But against all odds, a second season is set to premiere in the fall, continuing her $100 million Netflix deal.
