Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi will soon complete the first month of their surprising engagement announcement. Many people have been bashing the young actress for taking the biggest decision of her life only at 19. However, the father-in-law of the beloved superstar finally came forward to present his thought about their engagement.

Jon Bon Jovi recently sat down with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy” on 2nd May 2023. During the conversation, the famous singer opened up about the engagement of his 20-year-old son to the Stranger Things star. Pushing back all the haters, the 61-year-old stated that age doesn’t matter when you have found the right person in life. Moreover, he gave a piece of advice to the pair that the only important thing is growing old and wise together.

The New Jersey legacy himself got married in his 20s to his high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley in 1989. So he finds it perfectly fine that his children doing the same. “All of my kids have found the people they think they can grow together with, and we like them all,” added the ‘Bed of Roses’ singer.

Millie Bobby Brown is not the first superstar to think about settling down with the love of her life at a young age. There are many celebrities who have already chosen this path and are happy with their decision. Even the elder son of Jon Bon Jovi got engaged last year.

Jesse Bongiovi, who was born to Bon Jovi and Hurley on Feb. 19, 1995, in Los Angeles, has also found the love of his life. The 28-year-old popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Jesse Light in late July 2022. The couple dated for four years and decided to take their relationship to the next level, aka called a forever.

According to Page Six, the proposal took place in East Hampton where their whole family gathered to give their blessings. Meanwhile, as of now, it is not revealed whether Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi had a similar proposal. Only we have seen the actress thanking fans during the German Comic Con.
