The A24 film, budgeted at $70 million, fictionalizes Reisman’s 1950s rise through New York’s underground betting scene. Co-starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler, The Creator (film debut), and Fran Drescher as Reisman’s mother, the cast blends Hollywood veterans and fresh faces. Principal photography wrapped in NYC on December 5, 2024, after a 10-week shoot.
