As soon as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to air out the royal insider information, they had to give up all the remaining royal luxuries, including their UK home. Frogmore Cottage, the key to which was acquired by the Sussexes the moment they tied the knot, was one such luxury. After spending a fortune to make it their love nest, the Sussexes had to move to their Montecito abode. However, Frogmore Cottage was not the only home the couple had to leave behind before starting their Hollywood life.
They also had a secret property worth $2,600,000 that they had to bid farewell to as well.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have lived in multiple homes throughout their eight-year relationship. This includes Prince Harry's bachelor pad at Nottingham Cottage, Frogmore Cottage, Tyler Perry's home in LA, and their current mansion in Montecito, US. However, one home that may have flown under the radar of fans was their Cotswolds property, where they reportedly resided in the Oxfordshire residence valued at approximately $2,600,000 back in 2018.

The couple moved to this secret estate while Frogmore Cottage was still under renovation, as reported by the Mirror. The estate featured a primary residence, a magnificent farmhouse, and an additional two-bedroom cottage ideal for employees or visitors. The couple also hosted several parties there. However, they had to leave the abode after it was discovered by the media and they lost their privacy. And now, it seems the Sussexes may have to move out of their US home as well.
The Californian royals, nonetheless, still have an option to consider if Prince Harry really ends up losing his American lifestyle.

Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir, Spare, which contributed to him burning his bridges with the royal family, could also spell trouble for his US lifestyle. The Duke’s open admission of substance abuse has become a thorn in his side regarding his US residency. The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank in Washington, is currently advocating for the US government to review Prince Harry's immigration records.

While it is possible that the Sussexes will weather this storm as well, in the worst-case scenario, there is one country that would welcome the couple with open arms if they move out of the US. A former BBC royal correspondent told OK! Magazine that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could lean on Canada, as the country “would look kindly on” them. However, the chances of the couple ever settling back in the UK are slim to none.
