Sports documentaries only add to the excitement of their fans by offering more insight into their favorite teams. However, it takes a special skill to showcase it in a certain way. The series has now won a Critics Choice Real Tv Award for Best Sports Show. It premiered on 24th August 2022, for the first season after its takeover by Hollywood entertainers. Thereon we saw the non-league team rise up both through its fame and performance.
While it always had fans, the team was said to be mismanaged to the point that it lost its glory. The stars then purchased it for a hefty amount of £2 million and kicked off the series on Disney+. Thereafter, they are also convinced about live telecasts of matches to garner more viewers, which helped all the teams get exposure. There were about 18 episodes, each focusing on a different aspect of their progress, and the rollercoaster ride that they went through.
With the success and an award to back it up, here is what we hope to see in season 2.

Wrexham has developed immensely since season one. They won a major match at the Racecourse Ground, enabling them to play with bigger teams. The same ground has now got the support of the Welsh Government for expansion and renovation.
The team is also set to have a series of friendly matches with several teams, including the massive Manchester United in July. Perhaps we can expect to see all of that in September when Season 2 is said to be released.
