In case you missed it, the daughter of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry turned two on the 4th of June. The couple had a blast celebrating the birthday of Princess Lilibet around loved ones. Though her parents kept things quite low-key, the royal fans couldn’t help but notice how their family maintained their silence on this special day. This is the first time the family did not give a public shout-out to one of their kids, which resulted in raising questions about future celebratory occasions and how things would turn out for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Following the infamous withdrawal of Harry and Meghan from the royal family, relations between family members have remained frosty. Previously fans saw that the ‘Spare’ author attending his father’s coronation alone. While his wife stayed home to prepare for the birthday of their son Archie, which fell on the same day. Now the talk about King Charles’s upcoming birthday parade has started taking over the minds of people.

It is revealed that the 38-year-old has not been invited to this traditional event that marks a milestone in his father’s life. Since this would be the first birthday he is celebrating after his succession to the throne. “I’m afraid it’s a reflection of the state of relations at the moment,” a source told Daily Mail.

Famously known as Trooping the Color, this ceremony has been running for more than 260 years. Now King Charles would headline it with family members on horseback and in carriages. The parade has more than 1,400 parading soldiers, 400 musicians, and 200 horses. Things appear to change after the death of Queen Elizabeth, who celebrated the first birthday of her granddaughter in London.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took Lilibet to London on her first birthday
Unlike this year, Princess Lilibet’s birthday was more like a royal celebration, with family members gathering under the roof. At that time, Queen Elizabeth II was alive and met his great-granddaughter for the first time. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry flew to London to spend some time with the late monarch.
The Sussexes and their children spend most of their time at Windsor Castle and later had a private party with the royal family. Not just that, the couple also attended a Service of Thanksgiving for the Queen at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Sadly, fans won’t get to see this kind of get-togethers anyone considering the wall that has been slowly building between them.
