After the Fatal Incident With Paul Mullin, Ryan Reynolds Reached Out to the Manchester United Goalkeeper With a Message
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned Wrexham AFC has been making history with their recent progress. While winning the friendly match against Manchester United, the team suffered a loss as well. One of the star players of the team, Paul Mullin, got hurt during the game. Although the Deadpool actor was not present at the moment, he wished for Mullin’s speedy recovery. Meanwhile, the Canadian actor reached out to the Manchester United goalkeeper, Nathan Bishop, with a message.
During their previous match against Wrexham AFC, Bishop and Mullin collided with each other, which led Mullin to have a lung puncture. However, the player immediately received medical attention. While Mullin is now under proper care, the Manchester United goalkeeper expressed his worry and asked how the Wrexham star player was doing. Appreciating the concerns, the club co-owner responded to Bishop and wished him luck, per The Guardian.

Reynolds was absent from the stands as he was busy with the Deadpool 3 production. However, as soon as he got to know about the incident, the actor took to his social media to express his worries. Meanwhile, Paul Mullin also posted a selfie from the hospital, assuring his fans everything was fine with him.
Phil Parkinson, the club’s manager, was not at all happy with the entire incident. He admitted he was fuming, while Bishop was extremely heartbroken about everything that happened. But certainly, a text from the Vancouver-born might help him feel good. Apart from Mullin, there is one more player who is currently in recovery from his injuries.

Jordan Tunnicliffe got his calfs injured during their big game against Chelsea. The Welsh club lost the game with a score of 0-5. Nevertheless, in the later game with the LA Galaxy, Wrexham AFC played wonderfully and secured a win with a score of 4-0. The pre-season tour is facing some major issues with star players getting injured.
While there is no certainty of when Paul Mullin will join the team again, it seems the player will stay out during the ELF League 2 matches. The first match is on the 5th of August against the MK Dons. Therefore, it seems obvious how it will turn out for the English player.
