After the “face-melting” Comment, Ryan Reynolds’ ‘Deadpool 3’ Production Studios Forbade Rob Liefeld From Spilling Another Word
Creating a certain hype around the movie has been a quality of Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool films. Therefore, before the actual film comes out, fans keep on guessing details. But with the last installment of the Deadpool franchise, the case has been different. The father of the Merc with a Mouth, Rob Liefeld, has been a little vocal about the movie’s details. However, this was not what the production studios had planned.
From having certain MCU characters to having the X-Men characters back, Deadpool 3 is going to be an exciting journey. However, with the ongoing strikes in Hollywood, the production of the film has been stopped. Meanwhile, there came a huge update from the production houses for Liefeld. After his comment about the movie being “face-melting,“ the studio executives have forbidden him from speaking any more about the film.
As per ComicBook, the 55-year-old artist himself acknowledged the fact and admitted he had been a little too candid about the production of the forthcoming installment. Additionally, he revealed the Marvel and Disney studios have effectively banned him from commenting anymore. And as per his promise to the studios, the American comic book writer stayed silent about the threequel during his interview at San Diego Comic-Con.

Though Liefeld did not reveal many details about Reynolds’ passion project, he surely hyped up the fandom by revealing how the experience was going to be for the audience. Moreover, the Inkpot Award-winning artist also opened up about his knowledge of Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine. Apparently, Liefeld knew about it way before they announced it. Well, it was enough for the studios to put an end to the revelations to create misconceptions in fans’ minds. But there was one useful thing that helped fans calm down as well.
Amidst the strike, Rob Liefeld suggested a calming solution for Deadpool 3
According to the rules of the WGA strike, no changes can be done to the written script nor can the writers write a new one. Now, this was extremely difficult news for the People’s Icon, as he would improvise most of his Deadpool lines. However, when fans were worried, Rob Liefeld assured fans and calmed them down.

He posted ADR was the place where the real work happened. And because the Vancouver-born actor’s character wore a mask, they would be able to rerecord the improvised version. However, as per recent reports, the production of the film is on hold.
