Elordi was sighted in Sydney filming his latest miniseries, The Narrow Road to the Deep North. The series is based on Richard Flanagan’s Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name, and it takes place during and after World War II. It will be a five-part drama based on the narrative of Lieutenant Dorrigo Evans and how a romantic relationship with Amy Mulvaney affected his life.
The actor has arrived in Australia to play the younger Dorrigo Evans in the 1940s. In addition to him, Irish actors Ciaran Hinds and Odessa Young will also appear in the five-part series. Further, Sony Pictures will distribute the series overseas once it premieres on Prime Video in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. With someone like Elordi at the helm, the series The Narrow Road to the Deep North promises to be dramatic and visceral.
The conclusion of the SAG-AFTRA strikes after 118 days has accelerated all film activities in Hollywood. This is the primary reason The Handmaid’s Tale actress was sighted in Australia a few weeks ago with co-star Glenn Powell.

The actress and Powell had been sighted back in Sydney, Australia, doing reshoots for their highly anticipated American romantic comedy flick Anyone But You, which is set to premiere on December 22. The movie has briefly resumed production to film a couple of additional “beauty shots.” To commemorate this event, the film’s director, Will Gluck, shared an image of the duo grabbing coffee. Both Sweeney and Powell could be seen smiling and snuggling in the photo.
The majority of the additional reshoots took place at Bondi Beach shortly after the strikes ended on November 9. Sweeney, the first person to arrive in the country, was seen filming sequences in a stunning pink gown, which she had worn earlier at Circular Quay. The film also generated a lot of buzz due to the chemistry of the actors in the teaser, which also fueled the dating rumors. However, considering Sweeney’s present engagement to Jonathan Davino, both of them disputed this.
