After Subtly Shading Meghan Markle for Her Oprah Winfrey Interview, Britney Spears Comes for Prince Harry and His Memoir
There are not enough words to describe Britney Spears’ profound influence on the late 90s and 2000s of pop culture. However, her rise to the legacy has been dented variably over time with the legalities of conservatorship, which led to the “Free Britney” movement. Stomped with personal struggles but incredible triumph, the ‘Toxic’ singer had declared how it was impossible for her to let out the nitpicks of her life in a sit-in interview, following Meghan Markle’s excruciatingly detailed conversation with Oprah Winfrey.
For what’s worth, she really honored her declaration until recently. Since her announcement, provocative detailed excerpts from her recently released memoir had started surfacing the social media. After its release on October 24, she took to X (formerly, Twitter) to assert how it has become the top-selling memoir, surpassing those of all other celebrities.

According to a recent post by Britney Spears on X, formerly known as Twitter, claimed that her memoir, The Woman in Me, is now a best-seller. She wrote, “It’s happening !!! My book is the highest selling celebrity memoir in history and it’s only day 1 !!!.” The singer of ‘Oops I Did It Again’ also posted an image of the front page of her memoir accompanied by a brief video.
The Woman in Me gives an in-depth insight into the life of the ‘Criminal’ singer. It is a chronicle of things of her past, her relationships and her rise to fame. Given her assertion, Spears’ memoir has outgrown Prince Harry’s explosive memoir, Spare, which holds a Guinness World Record.
While there is not a hint of doubt that if it came down to it, Britney Spears may just give the Californian royal a run for his money, it is yet to be proven true.

For the fans, it might be just another season of blow-it-all memoirs, but for Spears, it looks like a season of bad mathematics. There’s no doubt that the internet loves sneaking into the celebrity’s world. Nevertheless, the allocation of attention is still determined by their respective fanbase. This is especially true for Britney Spears vs Prince Harry in the memoir category.
Hence, although Britney Spears’ claim did rattle the world for a moment, the Prince’s fandom can rest assured that his best-selling non-fiction is still high up in the charts. While that might be a little disheartening for the Pop Queen fans, who knows it might really become the moment of the day, like she claims.
