Kim Kardashian is known for her extravagant Halloween costumes. Every year the star outdoes herself with another over-the-top look that leaves the world reeling. From elaborate family costumes to ones that show off the SKIMS mogul’s famous curves, she has continuously managed to steal the show with her creativity. In fact, she just debuted her 2023 costume on her social media.

Just like last year, the 43-year-old chose to go down the film route for her costume inspiration. While last year she chose X-Men, this year, the star teamed up with her 10-year-old, North West to channel their inner Clueless characters.

While the world is used to seeing Kim Kardashian in skin-tight leather body suits, this year she chose to don the iconic yellow skirt and jacket from Alicia Silverstone’s 1995 film, Clueless. However, she was not alone. The star was joined by her eldest daughter, who was dressed in a similar black and white plaid skirt and a matching jacket. The budding actress took to her Instagram to share her latest Halloween look.

This may not be the first time that the mother-daughter duo have complimented each other’s costumes. However, it is only the second time that it has been just them. The last time fans got to see them in matching costumes without the rest of the family was way back in 2016. It was when Kim Kardashian turned North West into her little mini-me for a Disney-themed costume.

While the online world has become used to Kim Kardashian’s elaborate outfits, her matching costumes with her daughter is one for the history books.

From Super Woman to her Mystique costume, Kim Kardashian has given her fans many memorable Halloween looks. However, none come close to her 2016 matching costumes with North West. While her daughter was just a 3 or 4-year-old, the reality star opted to twin with her then-toddler for the spooky season. The duo lived their Disney fantasies as they transformed into Princess Jasmine from the classic children’s film, Aladdin.

While it may have been the first time her daughter was dressing up as the princess, the American Horror Story star brought back the look from 2009. In fact, the star may have a soft spot for the Disney character as she even dressed up as her when she hosted SNL two years ago, which led to a blooming romance with ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
