Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell made a successful Apple collaboration with their musical Spirited. Both actors received a lot of praise for their work in the film. The Canadian actor is currently filming the most-awaited Deadpool 3. With the immense enthusiasm that is surrounding his beloved film franchise, one more project is taking place, allowing him to once again collaborate with Apple.

Reynolds has worked on action movies previously in his career. The 46-year-old is going to add one more movie to his list starring alongside the Harry Potter star Kenneth Branagh. The Academy Award-winning actor portrayed the character of Gilderoy Lockhart in Harry Potter. And now, he is going to star alongside the Deadpool actor in Apple’s upcoming film, Mayday, as per Deadline.

Not only the Vancouver-born-born but also Skydance is continuing its relationship with Apple Original Film, too. Reportedly, before the writers’ strike, they had written the script of the upcoming action flick. Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley will direct the film along with serving as writers and producers as well. Along with the duo, Skydance, and Maximum Effort will also be the producers in the movie.

However, the filmmakers have not revealed many details about the film’s plot, nor have they revealed who else will be there in the film. But once the Wrexham owner showed an interest to star in the movie in April, the film got momentum with the utmost seriousness. Goldstein and Daley originally pitched the idea for this film before Apple got involved. Now, with the agreement of the actors and producers, the film is starting to take shape.

Although the Red Notice star is currently busy filming Deadpool 3. Nevertheless, Mayday seems to be the immediate next project for the actor.
