Artists enter Tinseltown with a head full of dreams to carve their names in the hall of fame. But once the name becomes legend and the spotlight turns relentless, stardom transforms into a game of survival. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively built their Hollywood legacy brick by brick, but it took just one legal whirlwind with Justin Baldoni to put asterisks on their years of hustle. Fans wondered if they would ever reemerge to reclaim, and when they finally did by stepping out for SNL’s 50th celebration, the controversy only tightened its grip.
Despite the criticism, Reynolds is wearing his Mr. title like a badge of honor, standing by Lively’s side for better and worse.

The report follows Lively’s plea for additional protection from the court in her recent filings, citing “violent, profane, se--st, and threatening communications from trolls”. And of course, this also comes right after Reynolds’ SNL joke on the lawsuit that had the entire Hollywood hooked, especially Lorne Michaels and Dana Carvey who was not even in attendance. The joke sparked a firestorm, prompting debates about whether it was part of SNL’s satire or Reynolds’ repertoire.
While all signals exonerate Ryan Reynolds from the act, Justin Baldoni’s legal bulldog, Bryan Freedman, still sank his teeth into him.

Ryan Reynolds’ subtle addressing of Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni at SNL’s 50th celebration turned many heads, including the latter’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman. In an interview on Hot Mics with Billy Bush, Freedman touched upon the topic and took some direct shots at Reynolds for making jokes on the legalities, especially given the context of the lawsuit. “I can’t think of anyone who’s done anything like that,” he said.

During a Q&A segment of SNL’s 50th anniversary special, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler asked Reynolds how he has been doing. “Great! Why, what have you heard?” Reynolds replied with a worried look. While the act left several A-listers speechless, Freedman was also one among the shocked. But no matter the backlash, Reynolds is resolute in his allegiance because in love, need it to be, he is ready to play Mr. Lively in every lifetime.
