Along with their shared values and principles for each other, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle share another common yet crucial ground between themselves. It is none other than having a problematic relationship with their respective families. Their marriage and the royally presumptuous stances that they pursued blighted their future with their beloved members. Nonetheless, they stuck together with an equally uncomfortable amount to pay for it. 

Meghan Markle, who has been relentlessly fighting court cases with half-sister Samantha Markle, finds herself once again on the receiving end of criticism. Having won twice, the legal perils seem to never end for the couple. As reported by Newsweek, her controversial half-sister’s team  has blasted the Duchess before an outlet. 

Speaking to Newsweek, Peter Ticktin, senior partner at The Ticktin Law Group, spoke ill of the Duchess. Chipping in his thoughts about the sour battle between the half-sisters at loggerheads, Ticktin does not  “know for sure whether she is a psychopath, a sociopath, or has a borderline personality disorder with narcissistic tendencies.” However, he still believes that Markle’s “one of these, most probably a sociopath.” 

Further demeaning Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship, he added theirs was not love on the first date. Rather “it was a calculated psyop to land a prince,” added Samantha Markle’s lawyer. Meghan Markle’s spokesperson denied comment on their previously decided agenda for such atrocities.

What was the reaction of Meghan Markle and the team to the comment?

Markle’s estranged family member has been suing the Duchess over her revelations in the Netflix hit Harry & Meghan. Alleging that they had no real relationship growing up, Samantha Markle had sued the Duchess in a defamation case. Meanwhile, speaking of her team’s comments, Meghan Markle’s lawyer had set the rules straight. 

Back when the libel case first came into existence, Markle’s lawyer said in a statement: “This baseless and absurd lawsuit is just a continuation of a pattern of disturbing behavior.” They further decided to give “it the minimum attention necessary, which is all it deserves.” The Duchess’ team has thus not indulged in any kind of back replies or comebacks at the stirring comment.
