Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made their hunt for a private life well-known worldwide. Their desire for the same soon came to light when the Duke and the Duchess gave up on their UK Sovereigns and shifted across the pool to Markle’s native, USA. It was a common conception among the masses that Markle’s own country would welcome them with open arms. And so it did. The country had its biggest stars and celebrities embracing the estranged royals in the bustling cities of Hollywood. Nonetheless, it now appears, their affection for the Duchess has drastically denigrated over time with the love for the Prince still intact. 

According to a recent poll conducted by YouGov by Newsweek, the only royal who is still liked and appreciated is none other than the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry. While many thought the Duchess would also tag along, that was not actually the case. As surprising as it is, the poll showed 48% of Americans being all in for Prince Harry but his wife, went down below two more royals on the list. Following Prince Harry’s clout, his elder brother Prince William turned out to be liked by 43% of the interviewees. 

The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, however, did better than her husband. Ranking just below Prince Harry, his sister-in-law stood with a total of 46% of American approval. Lastly, scoring the least of all was the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. With only 40% of Americans voting for her in the poll, her popularity suffered a dip for the second time in consecutive surveys. 

Nonetheless, there is yet another list that depicts Prince Harry’s popularity surge.

Prince Harry also earned another title, leaving behind Meghan Markle

Not only did Prince Harry emerge as the most famous royal in the latest survey polls, he in fact made his space in another esteemed list of top-tier celebrities. As reported by the Glimpse list, Prince Harry secured a top spot on the list of most searched celebrities for the year 2023 in Google. The same list highlighted A-lister superstars, entrepreneurs, and leaders around the globe who were of top interest to the public. 

Led by pop stars such as Taylor Swift, the world’s wealthiest, Elon Musk, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the Austrian oak, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who found Prince Harry among themselves on the list. His wife, Meghan Markle, however, was nowhere to be seen.
