After Jada Pinkett Smith Confessed Her 2Pac Connection, Will Smith Dives Into His Dating History on ‘Class of ‘88′

In the last couple of weeks, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have divulged more information about their relationship than possibly any other celebrity couple. Before Jada dropped her memoir on the 17th of this month, she appeared in numerous interviews to promote her book. In doing so, she also confessed her secret separation from her husband and her love for her deceased childhood friend and rap icon Tupac Shakur. Well, these events set off a barrage of ridicule thrown at the couple. 

Now it seems like Will Smith has mirrored his partner’s actions and delved into his past, too.

In a clip shared on Smith’s Instagram page, he can be seen in conversation with two of the 80s biggest rap sensations Salt-N-Pepa. The female duo rap act had joined him for an episode of Class of ‘88 which the 55-year-old recently launched. During their conversation, he brings up the time when he and Sandra Denton aka Pepa went on a “date when they were young. That is when the conversation got interesting. 

 

Both Smith and Denton initially hesitated to divulge too much information. Then, Smith urged her to continue since they had “matured” now. Ultimately, Denton confessed that she remembered “exactly what had happened”. They went on to relay how the date consisted of going on a “drive” that ended at the “Hollywood sign in LA. In the middle, Smith even stopped to give a homeless person $100 which Denton found enduring. 

In a way, this topic seemed to hit back at his wife, who recently dug up the past as well.

It is a well-known fact that before meeting Will Smith, Jada shared a close bond with Tupac Shakur. From going to the same high school to retaining their friendship for years after that, the two were pretty close. During her recent interviews, Jada revealed that she considered Shakur to be her soulmate. In another conversation, the Red Table Talk host clarified that she felt that they had even crossed paths in “past lives” before meeting in this one.

Well, these statements were deemed a mockery of her husband, Will Smith, by many trolls online. The Bad Boys actor’s fans felt that the Red Table Talk host had turned their relationship into a meme fest by speaking about another man in this manner. So, it is possible that Smith is simply playing the same game as his wife now. After all, neither 2Pac nor Will Smith’s fans thought she was being fair to the men.
