The Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney is racking them up! After her back-to-back top hit roles on Netflix, the 25-year-old is now gradually setting her foot on the big screen, in Hollywood. As a budding actress, she has already been in many HBO movies before. However, the streamer has now launched the latest original film that predominantly stars the frighteningly talented Washington native as the centerpiece. Entitled as Reality, this HBO original is an adaptation of a true crime story as recorded by the FBI. 

The platform took the internet by a surprise by dropping the first glimpse into the American drama film. And we must say, it does feel intimidating. Having been accustomed to finding Sweeney blending herself in pop culture, this rare sight of her portraying a former intelligence agent has taken us all aback. Directed by Tina Satter, the movie revolves around the suspected intelligence agent being investigated by the FBI. 

As is understood by the trailer, the actress gives the impression of being helplessly stuck at a crime scene. We see men with badges turning things up and down. They are taking her pictures, scrounging through her items, and panning the camera at her face, all hinting towards a dreaded crime being committed by our protagonist. 

Fans go bonkers over Sydney Sweeney and her latest role 

As reported by the Berlin Film Festival, Sweeney’s character starts as any usual woman in the States having some usual social media account records. However, one fine morning, it all comes to a standstill, and her life is turned upside down. As she arrives at her home in Georgia, two men with badges begin an investigation revolving around the woman. Set to arrive this summer, the story unfolds with some shocking plot twists that are sure to leave the viewers all flabbergasted.

As the story unfolds, the supposed normal woman down the lane in the USA turns out to be a major crime convict as a “whistle-blower Reality Winner.” Accused of leaking confidential information about Russian election interference, the star seems to be in a bit of trouble with the U.S. government.

Nevertheless, the frightening tearful eyes left in shock have created quite a buzz among Sweeney fans on social media. HBO dropped the trailer on its Instagram handle. And fans have been going all bonkers over her fierce acting and facial expressions of the star

In fact, an user even demanded, “This better come with the classic TV-MA, Graphic Violence, Nudity HBO TW. Or I am simply not watching.”
