With The Witcher blessing us with season three, the cast is excited as ever to be back. This will also be the season that viewers see Henry Cavill play the lead one last time before his big exit. The intense mixed feelings amongst fans cannot be denied, but the team is trying its best to keep up the spirits. This includes everything from discussing the show to playing games, and even reading excerpts from the original book.

Way before the show came, the book series of the same name by Polish novelist Andrzej Sapkowski garnered a fan base. Netflix then adapted the series to make its own show through the lens of Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. Cavill was always a fan of the novels and now the other cast members have hopped on the train too.

When the series was new on the OTT platform, Cavill read it to his fans, melting hearts with his style. Admirers were left wanting more from the former Superman, even wanting him to make an audio series out of it. Then again, he is an actor who corrected people on the sets, considering his love for The Witcher books and games.

It seems like Henry Cavill started the tradition and, post his exit, his co-stars are following his legacy. The sweet gesture by The Witcher star cast melted the hearts of social media users.

Seeing the actors read in their The Witcher style has surely generated some admiration from fans. One fan wrote how much they love the cast members, while others want Chalotra to release an audio series of the book. 

Then again, there are those who still want and nag over the series, not sticking to this wonderful book source. It is also speculated to be the reason why Cavill left the show.

The third season will have a second part released soon, but the challenge lies with these characters to make the show a success after that.
