With so many interesting movies like Barbie and Oppenheimer lined up, the competition is fierce. But Andres Muschietti’s The Flash has the support of none other than legendary action hero Tom Cruise. After all, he also runs and jumps in his movies like the DC superhero. In an interview, directors Andy and Barbara Muschietti revealed to RadarOnline the news of Tom Cruise cold-calling them to sing praises of the flick.
Apparently, Cruise called them and spoke for about 15 minutes, singing praises of the end product. Another thumbs up came from writer Stephen King, which helped creators get a boost.
Now, despite not being a part of DC anymore, Henry Cavill extended his support as well. Sasha Calle, who plays Supergirl in the movie, disclosed Cavill saying it is “everything you want in a movie.”
Meanwhile, there were multiple private screenings of the movie before a public release, giving ample opportunities to get a critical review. But you don’t need the reviews to know that The Flash will be a new chapter for DC.
